TBI Bank is challenging the established view of banking. To date, we operated as a specialized offline and online lender for individuals and SMEs in Bulgaria and Romania. We are now focused on becoming a next-generation digital lender that will not only improve the financial lives of our current customers but also of those underserved by their existing banks and those who prefer a digital relationship with their bank. 
We are expanding the borders of our operations, engaging customers across Europe through an online-based journey, developed by the best minds in finance and technology.
Our evolution will take place by mixing our banking experience with FinTech know-how and by incorporating the cutting edge innovations that we develop together with 4Finance Group, our parent company. The goal is to bring simplicity to the banking experience by implementing new customer-centric systems and online product lines, built intelligently, flexibly and with the future in mind.
Since mobile devices dominate our customers’ lives, we will give them the ability to monitor and control their finances through mobile solutions. We will alert our clients of financial opportunities, earning the right to be on their devices. And we won’t stop there. Through a strong partners’ network, TBI Bank will create a financial platform and a marketplace, offering commercial deals, products and services that our customers demand and deserve.

Our History

Our History

In 2011 TBIF acquired the Bulgarian branch of Nova Ljubljanska Banka (Slovenia), created TBI Bank and in this way we entered the banking sector. In 2012 we started our banking operations in Romania and opened TBI Bank branch in Bucharest.
In 2016 TBIF was acquired by 4finance Holding – Europe’s largest online and mobile consumer lending group.
Currently, TBI Bank‘s branch in Romania, TBI Leasing, and TBI Credit together provide access to innovative, digital, integrated financial solutions with lending being the core of our business. Our ambition is to become a next-generation digital lender. Clients are in the focus of all our actions and we are continually changing driven by their behavior and the financial market. We are creating a community of highly experienced and talented experts, ready to serve customers across Europe.

TBI Bank Subsidiaries

TBI Money is an offline and online specialized retail lender, providing to customers in Romania access to a wide range of consumer finance and digital banking products, such as online and in-stores loans, credit cards, personal loans, insurances, etc. The company was established in Romania in 2003 and operates in full transparency and in compliance with all regulators’ requirements. It is an endorser of the ALB code of ethics and supports all responsible lending principles, with respect to all industry standards.
Currently, TBI Money offers national coverage via its credit agents and points of sale in merchants across Romania. The company continually develops new digital products and invests in innovations in order to improve consumers’ financial lives.
TBI Money is part of TBI Bank, a consumer and SME focused bank part, operating in Bulgaria, Romania, Germany, and Sweden. Both companies are part of 4Finance, a global leader in digital consumer finance.

TBI Leasing is a Member of TBI Bank, and it is active on the Romanian market since 2002. The company offers a wide range of leasing products and services, such as new and used car leasing, fleet management, financing of equipment purchasing, real estate leasing, and lease-back services.
The company is known for its high flexibility in the granting of funding and operates in full transparency and in compliance with all regulators’ requirements. It covers locations in the most representative areas of the country, including Bucharest, Craiova, Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Bacau, Galati, and Constanta. TBI Leasing client-oriented team builds strong and long-term relationships with its customers, focused on solving problems, rather than selling financial products.
