TBI Bank representatives took part in Europe’s leading fintech event: Finovate 2018. Each year, Finovate Europe brings together more than 1000 financial services professionals, 70 companies and 120 speakers to discuss the latest trends in the fintech world.
This year’s event took place between 6th and 9th March in London. TBIF CEO, Petr Baron, and Olga Gulkova, Senior Vice President Lean & Innovation, had the chance to get insights from 120 fintech experts on the latest trends and innovations in the financial industry.
“Fintech innovation continues at a blistering pace and we can’t afford to be left behind. Learn, adopt, make mistakes, learn again, move ahead, and make customers happy,” shares his impressions from the forum Petr Baron.
More than 1400 people attended the event which brings together cutting-edge banking, financial and payments technology in a unique, short-form format giving participants the chance to attend thematic sessions and workshops. Finovate 2018 focused on the new regulations in the financial industry, blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, digital lending, AI and the future of financial services.
“In my view, the most valuable part of the event is the networking: we learn from each other’s successes and failures, practice and achievements. Innovation comes with practice, analysis and constant “boiling” in the fintech environment”, says Olga Gulkova.
Some of TBI Bank’s trusted partners, like digital consultancy 11:FS and business software provider Softelligence, were speakers at Finovate 2018. 11:FS is the company which helped build TBI Bank’s technological infrastructure which is at the backbone of our current projects. Softelligence is the provider of a system which supports TBI’s customer-centric approach. Together with them, TBI delivered a full online identification process of customers and 100% digital lending solution in Romania, and soon we will present this option in Bulgaria, too.
“We hope that next year, we will be next to our partners on the stage, presenting our successful projects together,” adds Gulkova.
