Gauthier Van Weddingen is an international executive and business developer with broad managerial expertise. He has realized two successful start-ups in the consumer credit field, and two company turnaround stories. He is an expert at aligning staff skills with organizational goals and is highly adaptable to new cultures and business environments. In his almost 40 years career, Gauthier has accumulated experience in the fields of consulting, advertising, direct marketing and commercial banking. In the last 15 years, he has focused on consumer credit, successively managing companies in Poland and Belgium for the French “Galeries Lafayette” Group, then in Romania for the Italian “Unicredit Bank”. The two consumer credit start-ups he initiated and developed in Poland and Romania both became profitable market leaders.

Passionate of environment protection, he is currently involved in the development and financing of a large wind farm project in Romania. In his free time, Gauthier is fond of running, travelling and off-road motorcycling.
